Orion releases very soon people. Put the 0 in place of the 1. Then turn the 3 and 0 around to make "30" and turn the 9 upside down. Get rid of the 1 and leave the "12" as it is. You'll get the release date.

The copies will be in pdf form. Not literally book form. Yet, anyway.

The English Teacher has finished the novel. She really enjoyed it. I must admit she found a particular problem at the end. This problem will be changed before the release date. The final fight is rather hectic. I need to tone it down a little.

    -----------------

The first sketches from Joel (Drakxxx) are located below:

    Orion:

    Maralda:

    -----------------

I have acquired the assistance of a former English Literacy teacher who is helping me edit the novel as we speak. Loving the effort she is putting in, so far she's done a great job of weaving out the issues and aiding me in continuity to make sure I have no continuing errors with the story.

    -----------------

The Travels of Bakka is an Orion fiction that the titular character reads through the book. I am planning on releasing 7 of the 8 short stories within the coming months. It follows Bakka, a half-elf half-human character in Agathar (not Midras) who reclaims stolen possessions, raids tombs and helps people, meets people (mostly Orcs as Agathar is home to the Orc race) and pretty much is the polar opposite to Orion.

It's something I've had in the pipeline for a while.

The Treasure of Nifulaine is the first of the eight, be sure to check it out in July 2012.

    -----------------

That's it for now, hope you enjoy the sketches and information. More news to come on the release of Orion soon.
Wait...i thought i was designing the cover art? i haven't heard about this...what's going on?

[EDIT] Nevermind then. Didn't realise i had been replaced.

I've finished editing the book. After almost a month. Still need to go back to the first 5 chapters and change a few things. But for the most part the entire novel is finished. And the strange thing is... it's exactly the same length it was when it was unedited. The word count is the only thing that has changed.

The preview is coming on June 30th. Full version in September 2012. I actually have the only physical copy of Orion and the Sword of Light in my hands right now. It was a quick print on June 17th and it arrived this morning. The cover is below. Note: This is a 1st edition, my own copy. I am not giving this out to anyone. It's not the best cover, but it's only for me.

I also did this just to see how the self-publishing website would make it come out. It's roughly the same size as HP4.

Lost City = Cambrio. Yes, I know it should be lower-case. But I wanted to put an emphasis on it, making "Lost City" somewhat important. A key point and factor in the story.

It won't be half a year. The paperback releases in September. I want to wait before investing a few hundred pounds in the hard cover. Because an author has to buy a few copies of the novel themselves before it is mass-produced. So I want to hold out on buying 10 copies of the hard cover edition until I know whether it will be successful or not.

I'm looking into getting someone to do an adult themed version of the book for the hard cover. The one Drakxxx is doing will be paperback. The hard cover will be more like HP6 with the Half-Blood Prince's book on the front as opposed to Harry and Dumbledore surrounded by fire.

    Global Release Dates
United Kingdom - September 13th 2012 (Paperback edition)
    Europe - September 18th 2012 (Paperback edition)
    World - September 20th 2012 (Paperback edition)

The release dates only remain if I do not get an agent. If I can't get an agent by September 10th then I'll self-publish the novel.
