Default Zelda Custom art box- TheNiceGuy

Haven't thought of a name yet, but this is going to be on the N64 as a sequel to OoT and MM. I made up a story that makes OoT Link the same as TP Link. This is the first time I've done Custom art so go easy on me.

    Zelda:

    Link:

Any suggestions for a name? To sum up the story, all of Hyrule is burnt to the ground and Zelda dies, so she goes to termina as a spirit to get Link's help, and Link has to find the seven missing pieces of the master sword, however to merge the sword back together he has to give it his memory. Suggestions are welcome

Well, Zelda dies, so maybe the Legacy of Zelda?

The actual drawing is great but the colouring needs work.. You can't just use gradients and expect it to look good. A while ago, I posted a tutorial on how I shade & colour my custom art, I'll try to find the link for you.

I've seen joeythehedgehog's tutorial, but I use paint.net, so I don't have the proper tools.

Well keep going with this if you want but IMO you should either wait or get GIMP, for things like this. Because pdn doesn't have very good features at all for custom art.

I'll just see how this works, and probably get gimp or photo shop in the future.

Link looks pretty good, but I think you should make the spirit resemble Zelda more.

My advice has and always will be give up Paint and get GIMP. It sucks the first couple months because it's a lot harder to use, but just push through and read and watch some basic tutorials. Your artistic abilities will go through the roof and you will never regret making the switch.

This x1000. And he is absolutely right about it sucking at first. Thats the hardest part really. I suggest you get rid of paint now because it is not doing you any good man
