When you say "bland", are you referring to the visual style and setting of the game, or the gameplay itself? The combat seemed pretty frenetic and engrossing, from what I could make from the demo.

It might be because my weapons and armor a bit lackluster and I have a lack of skills so it appears to bland, just for the time being.

Like I said I figured as a progress I'll like the game more.

That seems most likely. Starting slow is an RPG staple.

I'm probably gonna start over, my character looks like such a dufus, and I also screwed up in the beginning because I was rushing.
