Looks pretty good. Still not feeling the massive amounts of hype, but it got me interested more than the previous two trailers did. It's nice to see that Catwoman actually looks like, you know, Catwoman.

Agree with you about everything except Catwoman. She look's NOTHING like Catwoman. See what I like about the modern Catwoman is that her costume don't look all comicy, its would work in Nolan's world. Instead they gave her some outfit that looks NOTHING like Catwoman.

    THIS is Catwoman.

More like Catwoman, I should say. At the very least, she has the cat ears and an actual mask now.

I still have no idea what the plot is. At least the Joker's goal was clear. What is Bane trying to accomplish? Anything? Who is on what side?

The only thing I love is the part where Bane says "Your punishment must be more severe", and his voices makes it sounds like that's the most obvious conclusion in the world and Bruce is an idiot for not realizing it. Cut to Bruce dropping down some sort of enormous hole.

But still... what is the plot? It's so confusing.

See that's not enough for me. Catwoman has ALWAYS been my character. She has such a deep rich story in the comics and its never elaborated on in the movies or other media other then Year One. I dunno, I may just be hating because I really dislike Nolans take on the Batman Universe. Like it never really felt like I was watching a Batman movie, just felt like I was watching Law and Order movies with Batman thrown in. They just arn't gritty and dark enough for me. This one looks a little more promising then the previous two but I won't be holding my breath.

The Joker's goal was to just watch the world burn, thats it. It seems Bane has the same goal as Ra's in the first movie. Destroying Gotham. The criminal rate is too high. Doing bad things for good reasons...to him. Ra's thought the world would be better off without Gotham. Maybe Bane thinks the same.

    Time for crazy speculation:
At about 1:15 the thing that knocks Batman down might be Bane without his mask.
Also, I think Bane might be Ras Al Ghul revived through the Lazarus Pit. The way he talk just matches Liam Neeson's voice and inflection. Yes, I realize how far fetched this seems. He may just be a student of Ghul's, or even the new Ras since he seems to be leading what's left of the League of Shadows.

    Here's my speculation:
    Batman is Bruce Wayne.

Not a bad idea, actually. Except Bane is so big in comparison, the idea doesn't really fit.

    This is my Speculation:
Gotham has fallen apart. In the wake of Batman claiming the mantle of the Dark Knight, Gotham has enjoyed its first period of uninterrupted peace in decades. Those that helped create the peace... Harvey Dent, Jim Gordon, Batman... are forgotten. Relics of a lost time. Their stories are now legend. Their warnings fall on deaf ears. In this new Gotham a ruling class has developed... not a mob, but an upper class of wealthy, corrupt individuals. Their war on the lesser men of Gotham is waged in silence, ensuring that they maintain their wealth while keeping the populace under control.

It the middle of this new Gotham rises Bane... a terrorist leader bent on destroying Gotham by any means necessary. Why? Because those like Bruce Wayne have been wealthy for far too long, while others suffered with nothing. He intends to wipe the slate clean... bring everything to the ground, everyone to their knees, so that only those who deserve success can have it. His methods are madness... destruction. And of course, punishment for our one true hero Batman, who stood up for what was right even as he supported the wealthiest of Gotham's elite class. His punishment must be more severe than death. He must be made an example.

Catwoman, Bane's messenger, no longer wants to be a part of his movement after she sees the results he desires. John Blake, Gordon-Levitt's character, is the last remains of what was once a great police force. He is the last of a dying breed that supports Batman. As for Batman himself... he must make a decision. As a man... he can be corrupted. He can die. But as a symbol... he can be everlasting.

    The End
I like it, and I think you just summarized the main gist of the film. But there are a few details that are a bit off. First of all, it has been confirmed that Bane is at the helm of the League of Shadows, and I think it might be safe to say that he's going to uphold the beliefs that Ras Al Ghul spoke about: destroying Gotham because it was "lost". He goes on to explain that there is too much evil in Gotham, and that it must be decimated, and decimation throughout history is what the League of Shadows does best. So I personally don't believe Bane will be destroying Gotham to push for the destruction of the wealthy, though by the looks of the Gotham Wall Street as well as Selina's talks of the lower classes rising up, Bane might manipulate these factors into his favor.

I agree with you on most everything else though, definitely.
