As much as I despise him, Drake from Uncharted has pretty much been Sony's mascot for the last few years. Then there's Kratos, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Sackboy, Snake (if we want to include third-party developers,), etc. etc.

I can understand those to a point, due to their success and popularity, but ultimately disagree. It's really just as simple as Toro being Sony's mascot in Japan. That's that. SCEJ has just as much relevance to PlayStation's history as it's western counterparts, and I'm liking this sense of diversity Superbot is aiming for. If nothing else, even if you personally don't like the inclusion there's still well over a dozen(?) characters left to be shown.

I highly doubt Goku will be in. But then again, they did add Big Daddy. At least Tekken makes since as it got its start on PlayStation, and most of its main entries are synonymous with the brand.

These are all 100% certain to happen, no doubt about it. While Sony does own the rights to Demon's Souls, it's not nearly as recognizable or vital to the PlayStation name, so a rep would be unlikely.

Please, I don't need any more reminders of Heavy Rain.

I haven't played enough Resident Evil to know. But if we go by the logic of what weaponry he uses, the possibilities open up to a variety of different characters. A Garand rifle isn't exactly unique.
