PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale

Things PSAS has me thinking about:

1) Sackboy would be a perfect Kirby parallel, he already has costumes from just about every franchise.
2) Now would be a good time to introduce a Toro game for North America.
3) A PlayStation Heroes (an Avengers-esque alliance) action game would be interesting.
4) There should be an ad campaign for PSAS or just PlayStation in general akin to the Cartoon Network "city" bumper series.

There are plenty of PS3 exclusives this year. They just don't/won't have the same large impact as this likely will.

I honestly don't remember much of Twisted Metal's launch. Was it that big? I just imagine Sony putting a lot of money behind this project. They have a Smash Bros. killer now, after all. They'll want everyone to know it.

It was the first installment in the series for a good while. Believe me when I say the fans were pretty much orgasming over it.

I was suggesting that they should go in this direction when their campaign begins. Not going to happen, just wishful thinking.

Also: Wouldn't it be rad if they included Kevin Butler (I know he's been suggested before)? It's unlikely (maybe throw him in as DLC) but he could have a pretty awesome move-set based around, well, the PlayStation Move. Imagine KB wielding two Move controllers creating a bow, sword & shield, boxing gloves, etc. His supers... oh gawd don't even get me started. No-look flaming crossbow shot?! Wielding a Move Sharpshooter while on horseback?! Guitar solo with explosive ending?! Dropping prices?! Viking battle-cry?!

Kevin Butler would've been the greatest playable character of all-time, or better yet the Final Boss, but we all must listen to what Kevin Butler said.



Another good idea for a final boss is Crash Bandicoot and Spyro teaming-up to destroy the other Playstation All-Stars or something, it'd be hilarious, but it wouldn't happen.

I heard someone make a sound comparison of the Good/Evil Cole situation to that of Sub-Zero and Scorpion of Mortal Kombat. The more I think of it, the less the situation bothers me. In fact, I've come to terms with the roster selection up to this point. If it's fun, I doubt I'll care.

The difference though is that Sub-Zero and Scorpion are different people.
None-the-less, It's probably a Zelda/Shiek thing going on with Cole where he can change stances.

True, but in the earlier games they were identical save their blue/yellow colors, right? As long as they play differently enough, I don't think it's worth getting upset over.

I'd be fine with a Zelda/Shiek duality, or the alternative.

I meant in terms of appearance, which I think is issue here as well. They may be the same character, but they're certain to have drastically different playstyles. In the end, how the game plays is what should take priority. Someone like Raiden has pretty incredible potential in a game like this.
