I knew I forgot one.
Off the topic of characters, what's your thoughts on the stages? I'm not sure screenshots do them justice, as I imagine there'll be plenty of mashup events happening during fights. Without that occupying space, they look pretty bland. Flat surface + couple platforms.
I agree, but I don't think they're quite done with stages, and without any sort of video footage, we can't really say how bland everything will look. I'm still interested in the graffiti in that one screenshot. It's a very minor thing and I could be over-looking it, buttttttttttt- a Jet Set Radio crossover might not be out of the question with the HD remake coming out soon (Isn't there a Jet Set game coming out on Vita, too?)
And I still think the Killzone stage looks suspiciously like a map from Brink. Would be interesting to see how they could mash the two up, if that's what they're trying to do.
For me personally, my favorite is the Bioshock Infinite Stage. It looks amazing, not to mention the thought of riding the sky rails around the map is incredibly appealing.
One of the head devs said they were a huge ICO fan. I'll let you put two and two together.
It's Alden's tower from Infamous. I'd love to start on the surface, scaling it through the match and end on the top. The Ray Sphere could activate after a while of fighting on the peak, destroying the tower and knocking the characters back to the ground to start it over again.
In this screenshot it's just Uncharted. The stages are initially set in one world then another collides with it during the match. On another note, I still want Rau Utu and Maximo. Like, really badly.
Also I think having new Dante makes a lot of sense. If Capcom is releasing a game that stars new-Dante why would they represent old-Dante in another game coming out in the same fiscal year? That would just cause possible confusion and would invalidate what they're doing with the reboot.
Both Goku and Batman are stupid. They're not video game characters. Yes, they've been in games, but this is a fighting game involving video game characters, not comic book, movie, and anime characters.
