Dad of the year.
Dad of the year.
My younger sister goes to a special needs school, and she's being bullied by the teachers there. We're going to find a job coach for her, along with a paying job; doing another year over there is not worth it at all.
During some of the IEP meetings, my parents have caught some of the teachers instigating her. The teachers, and even the principle never apologized when they were corrected, and they have tried to fight their way out of the argument by poorly attempting to cover up their lies when my parents caught them in the act.
People like them make me wonder how they even got the jobs in the first place, let alone how they were able to even maintain them.

That is absolutely disgusting. You can see the pain in his eyes... a man on the verge of collapsing under the burden on his shoulders. Unfortunately, this is just one of many, many horrible things currently happening in our schools. But what do we expect? We don't treat it as a respectable field. We will continue to have teachers like this one until we treat the education of our children as a high priority, and not something we reluctantly do.
