"Huge" new PS3 exclusive to be revealed next Thursday

As the tv guide listings say, yes, next Thurs on GTTV we are unveiling a huge new PS3 exclusive with first game footage. More soon!

There’s no word on what the game might be, with Sony working with a ton of first and second party developers on unannounced projects. For example, we know Sony Santa Monica are working on a new shooter IP, SCEE are creating a AAA Character Action Game for the Move, Quantic Dream are developing something awesome, SuperBot Entertainment are probably making PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Guerrilla Games working on a new IP. On top of that, there are constant rumors of a Syphon Filter game, or Eight Days and The Getaway being put back into development. And then there are the new IPs from developers we don’t even know have partnered with Sony.

Whatever the game is, we can’t wait. Be sure to come back next Thursday to find out what the game is (or, knowing Sony, Wednesday for the leak). Also, look forward to May 2nd, for another possible PS3 exclusive reveal. Now who said this gen was over?

Could this be the long-rumored Title Fight? With God of War: Ascension being just announced prior to this, it seems to be a likely possibility.

Honestly, out of all the possibilities, this would be the most fascinating. How they'd handle the fighting system, specifically, and if it would be an over-the-top brawler like the Smash Bros. games.

I would do anything for it to be one of these. Anything.

I'd go with Syphon Filter if it were my decision, that series is one of my all time favourites and I would love to see it make a return on modern consoles. But it'll likely be Title Fight.

It won't be Ratchet and Clank. Insomniac is working on the HD collection and has stated that they will not be making anymore Ratchet titles. I doubt Sony is ready to reveal the replacement developer seeing as they are developing the HD collection at the moment. I'm placing my bets on Title Fight, it seems the most obvious after all the hints and leaks over the past few months

They're taking a break from R&C(though how long the break will take is a question but they said it needed a breather till they could think of something new), they're done with Resistance though, and the franchise has been put into Sony's hands.

I think its a pretty safe bet that its Sony's version of Super Smash Bros. Perhaps we'll be wrong and it will be Heavenly Sword 2.
