E3 2012 Anticipation Thread

I'm going to be paying attention to mainly Nintendo this year, to learn more details on Paper Mario 3D and Luigi's Mansion 2, and the Wii-U and to see how much it will cost. I'll probably just watch Sonys to see how Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is going, and see if they'll reveal any more characters.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo said they weren't going to talk about price or even a release date. And Superbot said that they're definitely going to be unveiling new characters at E3, along with a plethora of other stuff.

I remember the last announcement that made me squeal like a fanboy (not even kidding) was when Nintendo announced Metroid: Other M. And it became one of my least favorable games in the series.

Indeed. But if Retro Studios is behind a new iteration, I think we can put any fears to rest. I am curious how they would handle some of Nintendo's other properties, like Zelda, or maybe even a brand new IP.

Yeah, I'll be updating the OP with streaming links and times, and there will be 3 dedicated stickied threads for each companies conference. (Probably not for Ubisoft, Activision and EA as those can just go in this thread). Since Nintendo's conference will be ridiculously late, and Microsoft's will be early, the only one I'll miss if I have to work will be Sony's, which is pretty unfortunate. Still, getting to see Nintendo's will be nice.

Do you have a source? All of the articles I've ever seen say the rumors weren't true.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was debunked. I haven't heard anything since that claims Bethesda does own the rights, outside of that original comment. I suppose I don't do a lot of research through Russian sites, though.
