    ANNOUNCEMENT

    Alright all you people Summer of Sonic WILL be starting June 1st, and the end of that round will be June 15th! So, you guys better be signing up if you still want to! First Round will be the classic era, so all games from Sonic 1 to Sonic R are allowed!

    Also, tag the box with "sos2012r1".

    and try to use this logo somewhere on your submission.

    People have been saying this for years. It's not. While the effort to put together competitions is nice, I think there needs to be more variety other than the usual Sonic/Mario/whatever box competitions. Competitions that have themed rounds (Like the Octoberfest when hosted by Koopadasher) have all been extremely successful. That, and the official VGBA competitions, like the more recent Atari competition put together by Reed.
