I know, like seriously? Who gets offended by 'fag'? I have plenty of gay friends at school who I joke around with all the time and they couldn't care less if I called them one. Hell, even coolguy said he doesn't mind the word. So, considering the word is used against gay people, if all the gay people don't care then it's not really offensive. And @tmrd, or those who say they're offended by it, grow up. Stop being so emotional.

Not necessarily. I'd be more offended if someone called me an idiot than a fag, honestly. Idiot implies a lack of knowledge while fag implies homosexuality, however I know for a fact I'm not gay (inb4 Are you sure..?), so I've nothing to worry about.

Yeah the term really isn't even used to describe gay people anymore. The same is happening with 'nigga'. I don't personally use it, but one of my white friends says it all of the time to my black friends and they don't care at all.

It actually has nothing to do with if the word is offensive or not. There is no insulting or attacking of members. Simple as that. No matter what word you use.

You'd first get a warning and a chance to stop. But after repeated times, yes.
