I can appreciate not having a Blu-ray player. I bought a 360 last generation and haven't bought a home console this generation. I still have a DVD player, which has the benefit itself of allowing me to import US DVDs as it's easier to crack the region locking for DVDs.

i mean tbf i only bought them on dvd because i have 1.11 on dvd and wanted to round out the collection on the same platform otherwise theyd all be blu-ray

In my situation it's even worse: I don't own a PS3/4/Xbone, I don't own a bluray disc drive for PC, I don't own a bluray player. I have a Xbox360, PlayStation 2, PSP and New 3DS. None of them run blurays. My only option is to take the bluray disc to a friend's house and somehow rip the video in .mp4 format or better, and then come back at my home and watch it on PC or whatever device that runs the file.
