I think the Veteran difficulty and grenade spam plus lack of a solid multiplayer ruined WaW for me.

It had great multiplayer for me, but I played it before it was overrun with hacks and glitches. Zombies mode was a welcome addition to the usual TDM, so I enjoyed it. As for the campaign, I do agree that veteran difficulty mainly composed of too much grenade use, but I completed it 2 or 3 times on veteran once I got used to the veteran AI. Still, I very much liked it better than MW2, the campaign alone was a more solid experience, at least for me anyway.

I loved WaW. Also, protip, when a new COD comes out, go to last year's game. Ex. I played MW3 for a couple months and then I went back to Black Ops and it was a blast.
