    Default iTunes Trouble

I am having some trouble editing track names and such in iTunes. When ever I try to manually edit the info all the options are greyed out so I can't edit them. All the music was originally on my Laptop and I just moved it over to my main PC and all the music info can be edited on my laptop. I have done some stuff I saw online like checking the permissions and seeing if the music is down as read only but none of those have worked as they were correct in the first place.

    Any solutions?

I do a lot of manual editing of info. Seriously, I do so much because I download a lot of free albums/mixtapes (I don't illegally download music, I really like to support the artists, you'd be surprised how much free stuff there is out there). Whenever the info is greyed out, I put it through an audio converter (I recommend DVDVideoSoft, it has a ton of useful tools for doing video/music stuff and I use it very often). You should convert it to either an MP3 or M4A file, then it should let you edit anything.

Yes but I have about 5gb of Music that I would need to convert. So unless it supports about 950 songs in a batch convert it would be far too time consuming.

Well at least try doing a song or two to see if it works at all.
