Near the end he starts saying something along the lines of "can you imagine kissing another man? It makes me sick." He's pretty much openly saying that his homophobia is a good reason for homosexuals to be killed. Saying any innocent person deserves to be killed is just wrong. How can you have such hatred and call yourself a good person?

If more people agreed with this, we would be much better off as a society

Definitely not, that is the wrong way to think, Christian or not.

Nice. The sad thing is that the first thing I thought of is "LIKE OR SHARE THIS POST IF YOU AREN'T AFRAID TO STAND UP FOR GOD, COMMENT IF YOU SUPPORT THE DEVIL."

Yeah. But I still think Christianity was cooler before it sold out and went mainstream.

I think Christianity is shady nowadays. Like it's almost a problem to admit to being a Christian because of how we're viewed, especially since there are "fake" Christians everywhere now.

I just keep listening to their older stuff. It's much better than what's going around now.

I maybe atheist, but most of my friends are Christian, so I've got no problems with most of them.

    Most.

The truth is, the Christians who make the loudest noise and get the most attention e.g. Quran burners, Westboro etc. don't even follow the teachings of Christianity. So yeah Christianity is gonna get a bad name. In fact, it's been like that for the last couple thousand years. For instance, the Crusaders weren't Christians.

Exactly. I completely agree. But those who are quiet always have my respect. With all the stuff that's been going on the news now, I'd definitely say that they've already adopted a bad name. It could possibly become the most hated religion, if not already, who knows.

There are those same groups in nearly every religion. For instance, "Muslim" terrorists don't follow all the teachings of Islam.

Religion in general is becoming despised because it seems to cause more harm than good. I wouldn't be surprised if it will be completely abandoned by most in the next hundred years.

I don't want to get too into the teachings and stuff around here, but yes, religion is only creating tension, hate, and destruction between everyone. Funny you say that, because I can't count how many people I know have left the church because of things like this that have been happening lately.

    Basically just this:

It seems like "Religion" is now "my god is better than your god and I will kill you until you agree". Even though most religions talk about encouraging peace and unity.

I say if a religion is promoting hate and not love then you should leave.
