Yeah, I saw that video in one of my GDC feeds. I'm impressed with the level of detail they put into the facial features in real time, but the robot that feels concept has pretty much been beaten to death over the years.

Ashamed of the comments I've seen in the youtube videos, a movie or an interactive tech demo does not equate to a game. What's the point of this game if it were to exist?

Although the engine Quantic Dream made is pretty robust, but I'd really like to see what they can do with it in a gameplay standpoint rather than make it an interactive movie.

YES YES YES YES!!! Ratchet and Clank HD Collection confirmed by Insomniac, with trophies, 3D support and multiplayer.

The disc will include Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal. Developer Idol Minds is remastering the collection that will include 1080p graphics, 3D support, and three Platinum Trophies. The "online competitive multiplayer" from Up Your Arsenal will also be included.

Unlike the original rumor, Price says that the collection is coming to the North America in the fall and to Europe in the spring.
Unfortunately, this will likely be the last Insomniac R&C game, as they are going multiplatform and have confirmed they will not make more R&C games. However, I'm sure this will be fantastic, as I've thoroughly enjoyed what I've played of All 4 One and Tools of Destruction.

Good news for people like you then. The PS2 games are arguably the best in the series.

GamsRadar made a top 10 list for best free MMORPGs. I'm personally not a fan of such games but I thought I share anyways:

Hey guys, Reddit has a bunch of codes for Dungeon Defenders on Steam, and surprisingly, they still work. I just got mine.

Yeah, it only took a matter of minutes for the second wave of codes to be used up.

Valve launches Steam Collections: hand-picked mod packs for Skyrim and Team Fortress 2

Valve have just announced Steam Collections: a new feature which will let anyone create lists of Steam Workshop mods that let players subscribe to the lot in one click. You can make Collections of anything in the Steam Workshop, but right now only Team Fortress 2 and Skyrim have Workshop content live. Skyrim is where it works best: all the mods in the Workshop are available to play, and Collections make it even easier to get them into the game.

Case in point, we’ve created two to get you started and show how they work: The PC Gamer Skyrim Mod Collection: Improvements, for the community’s best tweaks and touches, and another for our favourite New Content – much more substantial additions that change the game, but still for the better. You can subscribe to either in one click, add both, or even pick and choose from within our selections.

The idea is to let the community help filter the vast amounts of awesome player-made content coming out. You can rate Collections, so the community favourites will be easy to find and subscribe to. Future Workshop games can let players bundle mods, maps and campaign tools into a Collection, making it super simple for us to expand our games. They’re already pretty diverse: our Skyrim packs are loadouts of mods that you can install and play all at once. The TF2 community, meanwhile, are making themed sets of content, sometimes by multiple authors, assembled into packs like Valve’s class updates.

Expect more games to get support soon. Earlier in the month, Paradox announced that Gettysburg: Armored Warfare will ship with an editor and integrated sharing via the Workshop. And Valve have already mentioned they’ll be using the Workshop for Portal 2 maps and Left 4 Dead 2 content.

Just like the Steamworks toolset and Steam Cloud features, it’s up to developers whether they’d like to use Steam Workshop and Steam Collection features in their games. As far as we can tell, it’s a massive win-win for modders, gamers, and modding gamers alike. We’ll be updating our Collections as we find more cool stuff, and starting a few new ones. In the meantime, here’s Valve’s blog post about them.
Pretty neat idea. Instead of picking individual mods, one can simply subscribe to many different mods at once. Even though I personally use Nexus Mod Manager to mod Skyrim, I am pretty sure a lot of people will find this very useful.

Pretty interesting read at GamesRadar: The Top 7… Watchable TVs.

Has anyone really watched a TV in a video game? I remember watching TVs in Max Payne 2 and GTA IV. Pretty hilarious stuff.

A Dark Souls-related announcement is coming soon. Could the PC version become reality?

Dark Forest would be very appreciated, but a PC announcement would be damn awesome as well. The more people that get to experience this masterpiece (and I won't use that term lightly,) the better.
    bless you with this DOPE

Alan Wake. When I saw that Night Springs was obviously inspirited by Twilight Zone, I fell in love with it.

Widening the audience capable of playing Dark Souls would be a great move on Namco Bandai's part. Dark Souls remains one of the master action RPGs I've ever played, and I would gladly play it again if it were to come to PC.

In unrelated news, Final Fantasy XIII-2's next set of DLC is dropping on the 27th, and will include Commander Shepard's N7 armor for Serah and Noel. It makes no sense whatsoever, but I'm interesting in seeing how it looks on them.

Hideo Kojima Plans to Make Games "Until the Day I Die."

Speaking at a Q&A session for the Smithsonian's "Art of Video Games" exhibit (via ShackNews), Kojima said that he plans to still be working on games 25 years from now "if I'm not dead by that time," adding:

"I don't have any intention to retire, so until the day I die, I will be making games.... Maybe by that time, technology will be so advanced that I can just make a game by myself using a bunch of robots. Who knows?"
Great news. He always gives me a scare when he says he's gonna stop making MGS games (which he's said like 3 times now). I would love to see something new from him.

There is that. And in the Darkness 1. There are some full movies on the TV at points which is awesome. I think it's Gone With The Wind that was on the TV in Jenny's apartment..... not sure though.
