I have used them and I just really dislike them. Well if you like them you use them I guess...

    I second this.

Windows got boring to me. And the main reason I spent so much money on a PC in the first place was for gaming, but I sorta grew out of 'hardcore' gaming and more into graphic design / web design, which Macs are 'better' for.

Also, unless anyone arguing against me has owned a top-of-the line iMac for at least a few months (not 'Oh I used it once at my friend's house), I don't believe you have the right to talk.

Anyhow, arguing is pointless. I used to be one of the biggest anti-Apple members on VGBA, just ask Slim, and I decided to try something new. I still have an android / everything else not apple btw. I'm happy with what I purchased.

I used one for a year at college. Top software too.
It was awful. Horrible layout, mouse, keyboard, usability. I really find iMacs abysmal machines. best thing is that they take up little space. That's all

To each his own I guess. I'm certainly enjoying mine after using Windows only for 6+ years.

I used one in graphic's class junior and senior year, I would always get the rainbow wheel spinning and overall it wasn't a great experience.

Macs are PCs just with a different operating system and in a white shiny case. They're both made of the same parts.

You should have built a Hackintosh. You would get Mac OS, a smaller price, and possibly a better hardware.

People who hate Apple products and reject them blindly are tiresome. I may not agree with (or even like) the majority of Apple's business methods/decisions, but their products aren't automatically worthless as a result.

I just find it funny when people fight over which one is better. Basically they are just fighting over which operating system they like better.

I tried it with my old computer but it wasn't compatible. Instead of buying parts for hackintosh I thought I may as well buy the real thing.

It reminds me of the ridiculous "console wars" that continue even now, six years into the current generation.
