I got my boyfriend to listen to "Ain't Nothing Wrong With That" by Robert Randolph and the Family Band.

    He thinks it's awesome.

So, it's been a little over a year and a month since I had moved out to California, so here's a little update for anybody who would like to see what's going on right here...

So, I left Wisconsin with two bags... I had clothes, my PS2, four games, and a binder full of stuff (birth certificate, important documents, etc...) Landed in California with no place to live and no job. Found a place to live the day after, got a job about a month and a half later (coming up on one year on that.)

I lived with five awesome Chinese guys (well, four awesome Chinese guys and one who I didn't really like...) up until the end of August. Was homeless for a few days (living with a female co-worker which sucked.) I had a friend from Wisconsin move out here so we could share a master bedroom and have cheap rent.

Bad idea. I hate him so terribly much and I hope to never see him again after we move. He is a superficial useless human being who treats others like shit and I can't wait to see how that bodes for him in life.

Got a girlfriend for a month, we broke up, meh, moving on. Since I've been living in this new apartment, I've purchased a TV, sound system, Xbox 360, and an entire shelf of games and movies and the like. Work is kinda crappy, but it pays the bills.

Not much else really to tell. Here's a picture of my collection so far, which is slightly outdated, but... Still...

Well this sort of sucks, our budget would not allow us to visit the seven main cities in Japan because of overly high transportation costs ($260+ for a 1-way ticket to only one city!) so we're going to (unfortunately) have to cross out Fukuoka, Kyoto, and Hiroshima off our list of cities to visit. We're just going to spend more time in Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, and Osaka I guess, which isn't so bad. Tokyo looks really nice.

That's too bad, man, but at least you'll still be visiting. Tokyo alone should be an incredible experience.

Yeah, we're most likely going to allocate our time so we spend the most time in Tokyo, and then just go on a round-trip through the cities until we end up in Tokyo again. I'm still very excited though, and grateful.

I finally have a job. Now I too can become one with the soul-crushing entity that is retail employment.

    Looking forward to it!

I took the BC test and think I did pretty well. Most likely a 5. Which level test did you take?

If you're going to Osaka, you should go to Kyoto too. I think it cost around 4000 yen max. when I bought a train ticket (Osaka-Kyoto-Osaka) and a tourist bus pass. And in Osaka, you should go to Umeda and check out the massive arcade that Namco has there. I don't even want to think about all the money I put in to those arcade cabinets...

I'm not sure, I'll see. The budget is very limiting right now. Thanks for the suggestion about Osaka, I'll look into it. Currently we plan on staying in Osaka for 2 days and 2 nights, and we plan on going to Minami (Namba), Kaiyukan Aquarium, Mino Park, Osaka Peace, and Shinsekai.

EDIT: In fact, I may as well post the entire list of planned places to visit in case anyone is wondering.
Tokyo (6 days/8 nights): Akihabara, Shinjuku, Kawasaki, Koishikawa Korakuen, Imperial Palace, Shibuya, Rikugien Garden, Nikko, Kusatsu Onsen, Kamakura
Yokohama (2 days/2 nights): Sankeien Garden, Soji-ji Temple, Ramen Museum, Minato Mirai 21, Sky Garden Observatory
Nagoya (2 days/2 nights): JR Central Towers, Toyota Techno Museum / Automobile Museum, Takayama, Shirakawa-go, Gokayama
Osaka (2 days/2 nights): Minami (Namba), Kaiyukan Aquarium, Mino Park, Osaka Peace, Shinsekai

Any more suggestions would be awesome, I'm sort of running out of options here and I have an entire free day in Tokyo with nothing to do.

This is the most annoying thing ever:

Broadband is 50mb from Virgin Media, usually runs at 6 - 9mbps, now runs at 0.35mbps and it takes it 25 minutes to buffer a 3 minute youtube video. So yeah, this is what is going on in my life at the moment. Slow ass internet = very bad due to my work as I work online and I also save everything via microsoft silverlight. It took it 2 minutes to upload that image to imagur and 4 minutes to load vgboxart.
    Signatures are lame.
Hence why I don't have one.
    Because I'm awesome.

I was killing time playing Monster Hunter Tri earlier and about to kill a Great Jaggi online. The cat then gets behind the TV stand and hits the switch of the surge protector. Just as I was about to kill the Great Jaggi. FFFFUUUUUU---!!!

But I can't stay mad at that cat; she's very nice.

Hey guyyys, was real bored... needed to find a place to vent recent events in my life and how it's going! So what better place to do it than VGBA? So yeah I'm still doing my gcses and nearly in my last year of school! How time flies from the days where I wasn't even old enough to be on this website!

Anyway, my social life is going well, I think I speak for everyone when most 15 year old kids like myself tend to go out and due stupid shit, went to some shisha bar last night which was not a pleasant experience. Girls wise, I'm a dried up sultana - I don't think any man, young or old, will uncover the confusing ways of women, oh well! Also, been watching a lot of football this season; you will never understand how stressful being a Chelsea fan is.. just upset I couldn't get tickets for the Munich game next week! I'm off to New York next month, then off to Cyprus the following month.. so yeah life is good.

Just thought I'd come update you guys on my sad life LOL.
