So I'm assuming you're Japanese? awesome if so, you might be very well the very first person from japan to join this site.

I wish, it's easily my most wanted country to visit. It's up there along with China, they just feature a slice of everything (Amazing heavenly green lands/small towns/mind-blowing cities.). There is still the chance that one day i might though.

And you must take the time to visit the two countries one day;; easier said than done I guess, but they're both absolutely incredible places to visit if you know the right places. I'd say Japan is the more "tourist friendly" than China, but they are both really awesome countries (Japan is better, of course )

I went to japan four years ago, and I'm planning to return this summer. My grandma is Japanese so I have distant relatives there. Also, I'm planning on minoring in japanese/asian studies.

Well, we may visit some tourist guides but for the most part it's just going to be us alone. We're picking the hotels and visits and everything, just the way I like it. I feel more free that way.

Yeah Japan definitely is more tourist friendly. Hopefully i will. Yeah i sometimes wish humans could fly, certainly beats the expensive as hell plane tickets. So many amazing places to visit.

My brother has spent a year each in Japan and China. Patches can obviously tell you more about Japan, but as for China, be warned, lots of it is still in great poverty - it is still most definitely a dictatorship, albeit a lesser one now. He said that the cities are VERY polluted, substantial amounts of them have huge poverty and that Hong Kong is a million times better than any city in mainland China.

However, he did say the countryside was absolutely stunning there.
