FilePlanet has C&C Tiberian Sun available as a free download.
Here is Mub's Basic Guide to good deals:
- Steamworks platform has a daily deal, weekly offer and has some outrageous sales, especially holiday season. It also has some kickin' rad F2P games. They also have free weekends sometimes.
- Desura is a good hub with many great deals on indie games and pretty nice game mods.
- Humble Bundle is a good way to get indie games in bulk, it all goes to chairity but it's Pay what you want and their collections are pretty good.
- Feeling nostalgic? GoG has weekly deals on classic PC gaming goodness!
Here's a thread for some free steam games.

This isn't a referral to any one specific deal, but the Gamefly Store frequently sells used games at low prices. At the moment, some of the more notable sales are LA Noire (PS3/360) for $10 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PS3/360) for $15.
I don't know if it's just my location but if you pre-order Mass Effect 3 at Best Buy you get a $20 gift card. That's a lot better than the gun at Gamestop.
Amazon has Muramasa the Demon Blade on sale from $49 to $10: http://www.amazon.com/Muramasa-The-D...25073&sr=1-175
The PSN Gamers' Choice winners were recently announced, and are going to be discounted on PSN once the store decides to actually update. The games soon to be on sale are as follows:
Angry Birds
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Chrono Trigger
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy
Dungeon Hunter: Alliance
God of War: Origins Collection
Infamous: Festival of Blood
Limbo
Resident Evil 4
Street Fighter III: Third Strike
Any self-respecting PSP owner should own Dissidia, by the way.
Two sites I constantly use for deals for games (and basically anything) are Dealspl.us and Dealzon.
Also every weekday at 3PM (Eastern Time) Gizmodo has a daily deals of the day.
For Steamworks games, these two sites are good to keep an eye on.

I'm pretty sure Steam sales are coming up, seeing how Spring break is almost upon us. Fill your bank accounts gentlemen.
Borderlands GOTY is only £5 on Steam
(I'm poor, accepting gifts, will return favours =P)
