I'm thinking of buying ac: revelations, but should I get it now or later when it's quite cheaper. My real question is, am I missing out on much?
Honestly, no you're not. One could argue that it's worth playing just for the story, but it doesn't really go anywhere until the last hour or so. The campaign is pretty short, too, so unless you plan on sticking around for the multiplayer, I'd suggest nothing more than a rental.
I got twenty bucks. Best Buy has two twenty buck products. Which one should I buy?
- Watchmen 5-Disc Ultimate Cut
- Watchmen/V for Vendetta/Constantine Blu-ray bundle
I'm thinking the Ultimate Cut because I haven't found it anywhere else, and while I couldn't care less about Constantine, V for Vendetta can be found pretty cheap now.
I might be get either a PS3 or a 3DS....
I want a PS3 for Blurays and MGS4
I want the 3DS for Resident Evil Revelations, Mercenaries 3D and MGS3D
I've got a Wii, 360 and a good PC and really enjoys Alan Wake, Batman Arkham-series, Splinter Cell Conviction, the Bioshock games, Mirrors Edge, Portal 1 and 2, GTA IV, Minecraft, TRAUMA, the new Tomb Raiders and Fable 3.
I think Halo is okay and Gears, Elder Scrolls and COD is bad. I have an ancient Kinect.
I've realised Assassins Creed should fit my tast quite well, so I've bought the first and second games, but haven't played much.
Other than that, I'm quite out of ideas. As for games in series I enjoyed, I have the earlier games (Fable 2, All splinter cell games, all Tomb Raiders, all GTA games but haven't played them so much yet/doesn't like them as much)
EDIT: I seem to have totally missed the purpose of this thread. Still, advice are welcomed![]()

Should I buy Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City the weekend after it comes out? I haven't bought a game in a long time.
Uncharted might be fun, and infamous, but GoW feels like a big no-no for me. Too gory and too much buttonmashing/hack'n'slash.
And although I deffinatly can afford a PS3, I don't think it's worth it as I'm just starting to get bored at video games. I want to keep the interest up a bit longer without buying a new console.
I know for a fact I'll get hate for this, but just MGS4 is not worth a PS3, not by a long shot. It's easily my least favorite entry in the series. You're better off getting the HD collection (that includes the two best ones, MGS2 and MGS3) on Xbox.
