The only Assassin's creed experince I have is Brotherhood's Multiplayer beta, but this does look interesting, it's very rare to see a game set during the American Revolution, and as a Native.
I just watched (few weeks ago) a whole series on American History from the History channel and I am very excited about this game. The screenshot where he is looking at troops in the woods is very similar to what was shown in one of the episodes from the series. I hope the Ubisoft has seen the series themselves as it could benefit them in making the game more authentic.
I've never played an Assassin's Creed game before, but this one looks quite fun.
My brother, who loves Assassin's Creed, will probably get this....FREE GAME.
I'm pretty sure there is a hidden blade (or blades) somewhere in that beautiful suit.
Actually, there's an interesting article on GamesRadar that "confirms" at least one hidden blade as well as other interesting speculations about the game.
He has (at least one) hidden blade
While it looks like his main, signature weapon s going to be a tomahawk, the new assassin will still have at least one trusty hidden blade. On the game's cover it's right in plain view (not so hidden, is it?), but we don't see it in any of the other images, so we don't know if he'll start with it, or gain it at some point in the game. We also don't know if Assassin's Creed II's addition of a second blade will return, or if that will remain a signature Ezio thing.
Man, those screenshots really got me excited for this game. It looks like such a refreshing change of setting to the others.
the major announcment it's bassicaly a AC III trailer, right?Assassin's Creed III is set to hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 30th. Ubisoft has said that a major announcement will be revealed in the coming days, and the game's official site currently features a countdown.

Ubisoft's not even trying to hold the details, with all this I wouldn't be surprised if the trailer was leaked early too.
I just noticed that the tomahawk is the Creed logo. AWESOME.
I love all the freaking details that Ubisoft includes in Assassin Creed games, especially the look of the antagonist. This one is no exception.
OP has been updated with a huge list of info from GI and the link to the scans

For everyone complaining about the lack of things to jump around on in colonial America.
Yeah, there are buildings ~ may not be very tall or grand but they're still there, still gonna be boring as hell to climb them. From the looks of things it seems that the majority of the climbing/exploration will occur in The Frontier anyways, so I'm not very worried.
