Amazing, both series are worth watching. I'd recommend you watch the first then second series.

I agree. I mean, I never finished the anime nor read the manga, but from what I've seen, it's great. In fact, it's sitting on my HD waiting for me to watch it, which I'll do after I finish some other animes.

I was surprised by how closely the Manga and Anime adaptation looked alike, I mean of course they "look" the same since it's the same series, but I mean the content as a whole is almost a literal animated version of the Manga. Almost word for word and panel for panel. But I've only got up to Volume 3 of the Manga, so I'm not sure past that point.

I love the setting, it's really unique. Trust me, watch the dub, it's damn good. If you're not a member of funimation.com or have Netflix, there are, ... other methods.

I just finished watching Android Kikaider - The Animation a few days ago, it was a lot darker and reminded me of Megaman in a weird way.

Also I'm currently waiting for my friend to give me the Kikaider 01 OVA's, can anyone tell me if the OVA's were good, I never got a chance to watch them.


I'd also like to get my hands on a complete collection of Cyborg 009, that shit was amazing!

You should read the manga as well. The anime's quality really starts to deteriorate when it branches off from the source material.
