Since I didn't see a recent one, I decided to make one as I'm pretty sure many people here are interested in anime/manga. Just post your favorite series, which ones you're currently watching, and general discussion about the series.

I just finished all three seasons of Avatar a few hours ago and wow, even though it's not technically Japanese or even anime, I guess it falls under the category. I loved it, it was amazing. And the ending was actually pretty satisfying.

A few months ago I finished both seasons of Darker than Black. I plan on rewatching Clannad again since it's been about a year since I've seen it. Also, at the time I had watched Clannad, I got about halfway through Clannad: After Story but stopped for some reason, so I will have to finish Season 2.

Oh okay now that someone else posted I can make a serious post.

I've been watching Anime since the first episode of Naruto aired 5 or 6 years back. I'm currently into Naruto Shippuden, Bleach (kinda), Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, and BOBO-BOBOBO of course.

Thoughts on Darker Than Black?

I absolutely loved it. I was a little disappointed at the (short) length of Season 2 though. The twists and storyline is great, and I love the character development.

On my active watchlist right now are Gintama, Nisemonogatari, Daily Lives of High School Boys, Zero no Tsukaima F and second season of Bakuman. The first three are great and the latter ones are good too.

I recently watched Neon Genesis: Evangelion in it's entirety, minus the remakes. Not only my favorite anime of all time, but maybe even one of my favorite shows of all time. The End of Evangelion was pretty fucked up though.

Gintama is probably one of my favorites, I'd suggest watching よりぬき銀魂さん version if you have not done so. The manga is also fantastic.

I recently finished Ergo Proxy, what an a amazing series. I recommend every Anime lover to check it out along with Monster.

I have really nothing new to watch though , I guess I'll re-watch Death Note. It sucks that anime lately has been too much childish, nearly all deep anime has either died or turned into a 400 episode beast with horribly tangled plot.

Japan never ceases to amazing me with their disgusting and violent imagery. I can't blame the creator though, he showed a lot of death threats from "fans" at the end of the film. I can't believe that there are people out there that actually care about a fictional series so much that they start sending out threats and vandalize the studio of the anime.

I don't really see a point in watching Yorinuki, since I've found nearly every episode of Gintama to be enjoyable, so I can just rewatch those instead of a collection series . Also, this week's episode was incredibly touching. I don't know, this song just gets me every time. It touches my inner madao.

Anyways, I can't stop thinking about the ending of Avatar. It was just so amazing. I absolutely loved it. I shed a few tears. ATLA is one of my all-time favorite series. These two songs get me every time:
