I'm feeling in a very nostalgic mood so I'll put this here:
Epic cannot describe.
Oh and @Kuja: Is Asura's Wrath really that disappointing?
Well, I wouldn't be able to say with certainty, since I have not played but the demo. I've although watched a playthrough of the first third of the game, so I think I have a pretty good picture. The gameplay basically is a shitty version of God of War and uninspired use of QTEs. I was really hoping that Capcom would produce a worthy successor to DMC with this game, but alas it isn't. It still looks and sounds amazing.
Keeping on topic.
Atleast it has a great soundtrack:
Except maybe this...
Man, MGS as a series has to have my favorite soundtrack ever.
One of the very many reasons why I love Metroid Prime so much is because of its soundtrack.
At one point, I left the game on just to listen to this piece.
Wouldn't be a music thread without...

Forgot about this one... not sure how though. It's so sexy.
Music in the gaming industry is a passion of mine. Thanks, Mub, for creating another of these threads.
Metroid Prime's soundtrack remains one of my all time favorites. Kenji Yamamoto blended the series' dark, atmospheric beats from the past with it's modern transformation. Not only that, but the tracks seamlessly cover a number of styles and tones. From intense and erratic:
Parasite Queen Battle
Thardus Battle
Samus Aran vs Metroid Prime
Essence of Metroid Prime
To calming and serene:
Phendrana Drifts
Underwater Frigate
Chozo Artifact Temple
From upbeat and catchy:
Chozo Ruins
Phendrana Drifts 2
To moody and atmospheric:
Wrecked Ship Entrance
Phazon Mines
Not to mention the fantastic work that came out of Prime 2.
I'd also like to mention that Final Fantasy XIII-2 has a stellar soundtrack. I'll be sure to post examples.
