Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 - I think it's a great Idea that it's a sequel. I say it's about time Nintendo has done this. I'd rather have a continuation of a story with the same Pokemon rather than 150 even more half-assed creations. They were just about out of monster design ideas with B&W, in case you couldn't tell, so would you really want a "Pokemon Dark Aqua Tan-ish Green," instead of a brand new story with Pokemon you're familiar with? It's not what we're used to when it comes to Pokemon, for sure, but most Nintendo fans say they like change, do they not? How hypocritical would it be to not give Black and White 2 a chance? Just my opinion.

But I really don't get why it isn't on the 3DS?! Whatever, it is what it is. I can't change it. Pokemon was a game the 3DS needed because it's a system seller, so Nintendo needs to make commercials featuring the 3DS' backwards compatibility by promoting this game. So it's a profit for the Nintendo DS and 3DS.

As much as I dislike this generation, to be fair, every generation has some dumb Pokemon. Even Gen 1 had a magnet.

Truer words have not been spoken for a long time. Nintendo could make money from anything. They could remake Duck Hunt with Wii motion controls and they'd earn millions from a game most of their audience has never played/seen.

And yes, There have been lots of stupid Pokemon before, but some are just too ridiculous. Here is a list of particular stupid ideas:
- Cofagrigus, a coffin?
- Klink
- Klang
- Klingkang (There is no originality to names anymore.)

Admittedly, they have cool Pokemon too:
- Zoruark
- Genesect
- Zekrom.

I'll admit, they are stupid now. But no one can deny.... Voltorb.... he was actually based off a Pokéball because they were running low on ideas, Though he is still better than any of the newer generations

If they can't find any more orginal ideas, they stop, and don't make any more un-original ones.

There are 649 Pokemon at the moment. Imagined if I asked you to draw 649 different looking monsters, at around the 40th or 50th Pokemon, you would start to get weary with coming up with ideas. Imagine how the artists feel, to have fans bludgeoning them over and over as new Pokemon come out about, "These Pokemon look so stupid".

First Mario Galaxy 2 now Pokemon 2, it's gotten bad hasn't it. I really want my 3D-styled Pokemon games (3D models, not 3D as in vision). So long I've been waiting for a Pokemon Stadium/Coliseum graphics with Pokemon (Color) Gameplay.

There is actually a Minecraft mod (Pokemob) that does a very good job at this type of game, and it's being updated with more and more features. However, I do agree that this is the path I really want Nintendo to go with the franchise, but I just don't see it going forward as long as the same game keeps selling.

Too risky, too much money involved in the same formula, most likely will never happen.

Except that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is arguably the best Mario game ever. I definitely think we need to learn more about the interconnectivity between the previous versions as well as any new modes or types of gameplay, or even a screenshot, before stating that Nintendo has the worst business team ever. In fact, the developer Gamefreak isn't even a part of Nintendo. Gamefreak is an independent company that owns half of The Pokemon Company along with Nintendo, and Nintendo basically publishes whatever Gamefreak makes. I can't imagine Nintendo doesn't give their opinions on where the Pokemon series should go, but the decision is ultimately up to Gamefreak, not Nintendo.

It's not like the handheld Pokemon series even has bad games. My point is that the formula that has been used since 1996 has been making so much money that doing anything else is too risky. We have other games like Pokemon Ranger, but those games aren't marketed in the same light as the main series.

Am I the only one who thinks they should take the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red and Blue approach? With the first PMDs, they released Red on DS and Blue on GBA. They should so the same here. Release, say, White 2 on DS and Black 2 on 3DS.
