Ok, that kinda makes sense about the quality over quantity..BUT there are few boxes on your profile that do not seem to be that high in quality or the ones that you put 100% effort in them (something like this).

Also, where is you humor box for Metro 2033? Did you deleted it because it did not was up to your "standards" a.k.a. did not get a lot of attention (favorites)?

Believe it or not when I posted that HALO 33 box that was 100% of my effort. Which was posted within the first month of me joining might I add. And I have improved since then. I make it my mission with each new box I post to try to make them better and better. And that Metro box was a humor box I posted at 1 in the morning which I regretted putting up the next day, but I had to wait 150 days before deleting it. :P I could have cared less about how many favs it had. I deleted it because I hated the box.

Also why the heck am I having to explain my actions to you? My "standards"? Could you be anymore condescending?

You don't have to explain me anything and you can do whatever you want with your own boxes, however, I am afraid that you are not seeing the whole picture. What I am afraid of is that the site will come to a crawl since members stop posting boxes to the site. Some designers on the site (in general, not about you) all care about favorites and are afraid to experiment and post their boxes to the site because they feel that the box will not get enough attention.

I also raised this question to you is because it's been nearly 5 months since you posted a box to the main site. I did see your competition box floating around the forums and thought you will post it to the main site for more people to see but then you I read that you're not planning to post that box to the site. I got both curious and worried of why exactly you decided to keep the box you created away from the main site and that's why I asked those questions.

I am frustrated and defending my reputation because of the posts you made which are quite offensive. Just read them from my point of view.

Winning by default is a bigger pain than losing. I would rather lose than win by forfeit. It's not really a competition if you only win by forfeit, is it?
