My Recent Graphics Ventures (Wallpaper and Xion Skin)

As some of you may know, I went through a real humdinger of a year-ender with the whole copyrights issue fiasco. Well, I am back with a couple of new products, and have more in the works (maybe even a box).

First up is a new wallpaper. From what little I know about the lore surrounding the Gears of War games, I do know that there were prisoners of war in both the Pendulum Wars and in the Locust Civil War on Sera. I could not find a COG medal or other memorabilia for POWs/MIAs, so I took the time last weekend to create one. I wanted it to have the appeal of a military looking medal but also wanted it to have a unique look that is decidedly Gears. This is a totally custom job made by me, so please feel free to use this wallpaper on your desktop to commemorate those prisoners and the missing from both wars.

My vision is that this particular shot is one of how I think the "official" COG POW/MIA ornament would look hanging in oversized glory on a wall in the COG HQ, only to be run down, grungy and tagged with graffiti containing hate and other messages. This all looks very awesome, but may I ask why you only(or mostly) do Gears of War art?

Why do some designers on VGBA only make Sonic or Mario boxes? It is because they like (or love) the series.

Gears fan art is only a small portion of my overall repertoire.
