    Default Thumbnails

I have wondered for a while if there is a particularly good way to catch a viewers eye with your thumbnail, when your box itself is simple or something that would need to be viewed in full to see the beauty of it. So if something doesn't look appealing in the thumbnail, it will subsequently not receive many views.

I always brushed it off until recently I've noticed some boxes receiving very little views and not earning proper attention.

A good example of this is my latest. It has received so little views in contrast to how many my boxes normally get in the first day or two.

Maybe it's a fight that cannot be won, but I just wanted to reach out and ask all of you. Is there a method you use or any tips you may have in order to raise the appeal of the thumbnail?

I think it's appropriate to have the option to crop their own thumbnail.

Yeah my brother recommended that a couple weeks ago. It's a great idea.

I don't know when you posted your latest, but maybe it has a lot of views because activity on the main site has increased, now that it has been updated? Just an idea.

An option for cropping thumbnails would be relaly nice.

And talking about thumbnails, I noticed that the "Related Boxes" and "More from..." ones that appear at the right of every box can't be opened to a new tab when middle clicking them. I think it would be nice if they would let you.
