    Default Image hosting for WIPs

I recommend using http://imgur.com/ to host your work in progress boxes. It works much nicer than imageshack/etc.

Nice site. Very slick interface with no image resizing.

I've always used that site, and recommend it to everyone. It's really great.

I've never liked using Imgur because of the bad compression. Of course, if you're just using it to illustrate a WiP, it shouldn't worry you that much.

    Left, Imgur, right, Imageshack.

The one from imgur looks a lot sharper and of higher quality to me.

For WIPs Imgur is amazing, not because of the quality but how fast it loads up. It loads instantly while the Imageshack one was only half done. I dont wanna waste time waiting for images to load, I would just get impatient and leave without commenting.

Abload.de is the best site. Loads quickly and the quality is great.

Is this that German one? I can never understand it enough to find an upload button.

For me, Imageshack is noticeably clearer (with a screencap I took)...

Easier for you, maybe. It takes longer to load, among other things.

I also use abload.de It can resize images but it can also stay at original res. this is useful for posting both fullsize images and ones that fit in the forums. It took less than ten secs for 3.27 mb to upload. I translated the options into english for people who had difficulties with the German.

Another GREAT place to host is www.use.com
Great for online auctions too. I think many of you will find it very easy to "use" :P
