Reed, it's time for an intervention...

I know I've never really been an active poster in the past, but I've been here awhile and I have something I wanna say.

First I would like to say Reed is that we love you. And it's because we love you and want to see what's best for you and your creation that were having this intervention. We are not criticizing you, we appreciate what you do. Just please let us help you. Let us help you clean this place up and make it more popular. Please dont give up on this site. We know it has potential because we've seen what it can do. The great thing Reed is that you don't have to do much. All we ask is this.

1) Appoint a mod. All were asking for Reed is one mod. It only takes you a couple of clicks and all traces of bots and spammers will be gone. And there are many users here that are more than qualified. There's Crotale, Stevencho, TheSlyder.. Etc.. Any one of those guys would do a great job and you'd never have to worry about them causing any trouble.

2) Just change the color of the forum. It doesn't have to be pretty. In fact, I think most of us would be thrilled if the colors just got inverted. White text on a gray background. That's all we really want. We like consistency. Just flip the colors and we would adore you.

3) Last but not least. Just pop in every once in awhile. All you have to do is say hi. We just want to make sure you still remember us. Tell us what you've been up to. It doesnt matter. Just let us know you're alive and we'll be happy.

So that's about it. If this was too long to read here's a shortened version:

1) Pick a mod
2) Invert the forum colors
3) Say hello

PS: I'm expecting the flaming that will happen as a result of this thread telling me how futile my efforts are and that nothing will happen. But hey at least I felt like trying. It's an open forum. If I got something on my mind, I'm gonna say it. And what's the worst that will happen? Reed will just ignore this and the site will stay the same oh well. I just wanted to feel like I tried. So anyways if you don't have anything constructive to say and just want to insult me and my efforts, your attempts would be more suited else where.

Yo man, I hope you realize that I have nothing against you. You said a couple things that I disagree with, but the forum overreacted way to much. The constant hate you get is completely stupid, and unnecessary. I actually respect you for staying here and taking the comments.

Though I think what you stated in this thread has been stated many times before. I don't think we need another thread for this. I guess it's okay because you weren't really around when these threads started popping up.

Well then there is Stevencho and TheSlyder at least. Someone should ask if they would accept the position. Or at least let Crotale suggest someone in his place.

I support all of your ideas but like its been said, Reed is well informed on our requests and is doing the best he can. Like I have said before, I would be more than willing to help out the site the best I can. Or if I was not found suited for the job, support the appointment of a qualified member.

And...yeah. I think I made one of these threads already. Something about my being elected emperor? No wait, King. King, yeah. I won't get carried away. But that's about all that happened . If Reed cared to do the things outlined in these petitions, he would have already done them, and there would be no petitions in the first place. Evidently he is busy with something other endeavor at EA that probably cashes out more for a living. Not much to do about that, but I suppose that sort of logic sounds a little pessimistic.

Not to be rude, but you do realize that if we were to follow the rules exactly, you should technically be perma-banned. I would cut the guy a little slack if I were you.
