Konami released a live-action trailer today.

Well, I have very mixed feeling about that video, the dominant being confusion.

EDIT: Also, they updated the official website, adding the ability to enter key words or phrases. I know "ray" gives a nice little piece of artwork.

EDIT x2: I also just noticed you can click on the little pieces of paper sticking out of the side of the screen-thingy and you'll get some more art.

On one part it looks like they're referencing the arm Raiden chopped off in MGS4.

It also looks like he's experiencing flashbacks from his time with Solidus. I'm fairly certain that was John Cygan's voice saying "you'll never be the same Jack"

Yeah, you can tell his childhood will play a key role in the story.

The thing is that Raiden's childhood was one of the few parts of MGS that I really wasn't a fan of, and the whole "JACK THE RIPPER IS BACK" thing is so different than the other games and honestly seems more like God of War than MGS.

Well I haven't beaten 4 yet, my brother has though, all he told me was Snake was about to die.

Actually, with all the apparent androids in Rising, it's pretty possible he could be in this. I hope not though. This is Raidens story.

Then what sounds like a woman saying "he is the perfect soldier"

So, it's just the audio at the end of the video reversed. A tad disappointing.

I'm pretty sure these trailers are showing Raiden's transformation from cyborg to super-cyborg (?) seeing as there's a lot of doctors and stuff.

I'm pretty sure they get into Raidens past...so most of the stuff were seeing in the trailers is probably from Raidens past.
