I know Koopa doesn't like me but I agree with him as well.

I noticed something about the characters. Now this is all just an opinion, and should not be taken as word, but I came up with a theory that corresponds with the Cracked Theory that Koopa posted. Basically, if John Blake takes over as Batman, or becomes a Batman-like character, his name sounds, at least to me, similar to Tim Drake, who was the Third Robin, as well as Red Robin. Both names contain the same amount of syllables, which would seem to concur that John Blake would be the likely candidate for the role of Batman, as Robin was always the sidekick to Batman, and since TDKR takes place in a realistic world, a young boy could not become a crime fighter. Instead, it would be a grown man, who wants to fight justice, just like Bruce Wayne. Since they cannot use a name that is obvious to a Batman fan, they would use a name that sounds similar to a character, but is distinct enough that if you take it as face value, a normal person, who knows just the basics of Batman, would not be able to figure it out.
At least, that is what I think. I have no clue if I am right or not, but still, an interesting little theory, no?
Batman Begins, good. The Dark Knight, I can't even bring myself to watch.
I'm a HUGE batman fan but I think Nolans take on the series is pointless and boring. Realistic? It's based off a COMIC, realism is thrown out the window. Burton's Batman had EVERYTHING right, same with the animated series, I can watch those all day and never be bored. I can repect Nolans movies for what he's going for but to me, they just aren't Batman. I'm holding some hope for this movie.
That poster looks awesome, but maybe the rain effect is too much.
This movie is going to be epic!!! Huge Nolan fan and big fan of his series!! I thing Tom Hardy is going to pull of Bane perfectly, I never thought Christian Bale was a very good Bruce Wanye but he is a extremely good Batman. I still have no idea but im reading alot of different storylines that all sound awesome!
I do respect the Burton Batman films and how they are more like the comics but Nolans Batmans are meant to be different. The realistic Gotham hasn't been done before and I think Nolan is the only guy that could pull it off as he did. The only problems I see with it which either could be a good choice or the biggest mistake ever is having 1.) Anne Hathaway in it.. and 2.) Anne Hatheway as CATWOMAN... personally i thinks that is whats going to kill it. What do you guys think??
This will actually good movie too. Avatar is amongst the worst films I have ever seen. Unoriginal story, sub-standard acting, and over the top mech-fighters (they had fucking knifes for Chrissake). The only thing I liked was the environment graphics.
I feel Nolan's Batman films are amazing, the story is incredible and the acting is some of the best I have ever seen. So I hope TDKR does top Avatar
Whoever it is that writes the story for Rocksteady's batman games should be in charge of the next Batman movies.
You KNOW it would be awesome.
Paul Dini wrote and created Batman Beyond. That makes him awesome, forever.
Agreed, I'd state my facts about Avatar but it's the wrong thread. However, even though the story is captivating and the characters are fantastic in Nolan's Batman series, the one thing I hate and have always hated: Batman's voice.
Bale overacts it, Batman doesn't sound like a 35 year old crime fighter, he sounds like a 79 year old man who just lost his prescription to viagra. A deeper voice would suffice, but Bale decided Batman should have a raspy, pensioner voice.
Heck, he even used the Batman voice in Terminator Salvation "You bring me Kyle Reese.". That scene, sounds like Batman just went from fighting Joker to fighting the T-800.

I have yet to enjoy any of the previous Batman films before Nolan's. The Tim Burton Batman movies were the worst of the entire group, in my opinion. Bad acting, bad characters, bad sets, bad directing. The others... I can't name them, it's been a while since I've seen them, were all very boring to me when I saw them, and what little I've seen in bits and pieces since then has made me change the channel.
In my opinion, no one has been able to do Batman movies correctly except Nolan. Does that mean that he's exactly like the comics? No. But I don't want a Batman movie like the comics. I don't like the Batman comics, either. They're ridiculous and over the top. Nolan's Batman is believable. I can watch his movies and totally imagine how a guy could realistically dress up as a bat and fight crime. Even the technology is believable.
Outside of the Nolan films, the only media to do Batman right was the original Batman: The Animated Series cartoon. If there have been other good cartoon versions since then, I haven't seen them.

I absolutely despise the voice Christian gives to Batman. It's okay to show the difference between Wayne and Batman but it's crossed over into being just plain annoying and distracts from the movie.
a la cho
The Dark Knight would be my least favorite live-action Batman movie if Forever/& Robin weren't so awful.
Batman Returns > Batman > Batman Begins > The Dark Knight > Batman & Robin > Batman Forever
Bale's "Batman voice" is the most annoying thing in a comic book movie ever. Except emo Spider-Man.
I REGRET NOTHING
How can you say Returns is Better than 89?? ..and.. what's this?.. ROBIN IS BETTER THAN FORVER!?! Are you high??
The voice. Yeah..
In Begins it was ACE. In TDK it's embarrassing.. ]: But I hope it'll be better in TDKR. [:
I love Spiderman 3, mostly because I find those scenes hilariously out of place. It's no changing, so I'll make the best of it.
