Did anyone else noticed the misspelling of "heist" on that newspaper headline in the film as "hiest"?
Watching a shitty cam rip would not do the movie justice, trust me. Experiencing this in theatres is worth lying to your parents; just tell them you're going to go watch Madagascar 3 or something.
If you are easily traumatized though, I have to say this is definitely the darkest and most depressing of the trilogy, complete with the highest body count.
bless you with this DOPE
I sometimes help them too.
If my parents are really strict enough to not let me see the movie, you thing they will let me go to the movies alone? I mean, I am going to the mall tomorrow, but I'm going with my brothers. And they heard the whole conversation with my parents, plus they are mamma's boys, so they wouldn't let me. My only option is to watch it online or "wait until I'm 18".
And I have been traumatized twice, actually. Once when I was 7 and once when I was 12, both from frightening images, and both were R rated content, so I don't think this could come close.
If I go to the mall, my brothers go.
And they weren't movies, they were stories I read online. They were very graphic, and detailed. I also have a very detailed and imaginative mind, so I put the pieces of the puzzle together perfectly. It was definitely R rated content on it's own though.
Yeah, I just went over that.
Didn't see it on the last page. Sorry then, your parents sound like they're pretty adamant in shielding you from Batman's wave of horrific terror and violence. If you're a big enough fan I'm sure the film will be worth however long you have to wait.
And out of curiosity, without spoiling anything, is TDKR that violent to begin with? I don't remember anything of the kind in the first two films, outside of the Joker's general craziness.
Sadly I have been desensitized to anything "traumatizing". It kinda sucks, you don't feel that scare anymore in horror movies or the excitement in gory movies.
NIHIL EST ULTRA EUM
Yeah I felt like this was less violent than the Dark Knight. But I mean the movie does have very suspenseful and dark themes. I could definitely understand why people could be cautious.
I think the only thing in movies that scare me or creep me out are clowns. Not Joker or whatever, but something like Pennywise from IT will fuck me up.
