I liked Ledgers portrayal of The Joker, it fit really well with the realism of the movie.
I'm not entirely sold on Bane yet though, but Tom Hardy is a really good actor and I'm sure Nolan will deliver.
Heath Ledger was great but I just love Mark Hamil's performances.
Further proves the theory Mub and Koopa said.
Plus that poster is just fucking badass
I agree, he is just not the joker we know and love in the comics. A bit too serious but it's definitely because nolan wanted to make a realistic batman film which is cool and all but he ended up making iconic villians seem mediocre (Scarecrow,Two-Face.). Not to mention that batman himself sucks horribly and christian bale is just a bad actor, he doesn't fit as batman. I personally feel that both the Amazing Spiderman and Batman DK had horrible casting decisions (i know im being unfair to ASM but the guy doesn't look like he fits for a young peter.).
Oh well, the sooner this franchise dies we might possibly see a far superior reboot that actually sticks to it's comic origins while adding a realistic twist to it. Look i like Nolan but Begins was horrid and TDK was worse, the only thing that was great was Heath's performance, i really feel like he was the only one trying. if heath tweaked his performance a little and became a bit lighter he would be a perfect joker, he's just too dark and sane compared to the hilarious and crazy comic's joker. In any case TDK is fantastic when we ignore christian bale all together and just pretend that the joker was the protagonist since he saved us from falling asleep from the lousy acting.
I plan on seeing TDR regardless because i want to see if they will (At least) do Bane some justice, plus watching him kill CB will be gold!
OBVIOUSLY THE REAL REASON WHY VGBA IS STILL ALIVE.YOU'RE WELCOME - Hunter
This movie is going to be fantastic...I just know it.
@Hunter
Well I personally love the Nolan films but I can recognize that all films do have some downsides.
I seriously believe that this will be the highest grossed movie. Avatar who?
