I think you should go there. It's not incredibly fun, but it's different, easy to return from and there are some items/blocks you can't get anywhere else.

I was attempting speed-minecrafting and I hit diamond within an hour and a bit :P
I love how resources spawn like there's no tommorow in caves and stuff. Lava chasm surrounded by gold, iron and coal galore.
I have 2 diamond blocks now.

That's weird. I just came on here to post almost the exact same thing.

A couple hours of mining and I stumbled upon 4 areas with diamonds. The first two were just 1 diamond each, the second was 6 (), and the third was 2 diamonds, making it 10 diamonds in only a couple of hours.

Everytime I look at the title, I think of a science experiment I did a while back. The teacher came up to me and was like "OMG yours is perfect!" (bubbly teacher), then she went over to my buddy beside me and said "Yours is even better!"

Awesome world seed: "I never asked for this" without the quotations. Spawns you in a jungle right next to a cave with no enemies that is filled with coal and iron.
