    Default Minecraft box [madoublex]

So I started this box last night and worked until about 4:00 in the morning, (as I do with most of my boxes.) Every image you see was screen captured by me. I'm not a huge fan of the front so any recommendations are accepted. Also, that damn creeper took my favorite iron sword >

I like the front a lot except for the middle cave area. What I would do instead is if you go to your achievements tab in the game, you see the 2D background of the stone and ores. I would use that to the middle connecting the world to the nether.

Actually an awesome idea! I had never even thought of that. Thanks.

Ya but I would change the blending of the worlds. Maybe a fade would look better?

I do agree, the fade effect looks much better

Might look good as an overlaying "ribbon/stripe" thing. Heres an example, imagine the red is your 2d block texture

Key thing there is the sharp edges and the drop shadow. A black or gray border on it may help as well.

I like it but the logo and the setup of the back annoy me.
The back is very plain in contrast to the front and the logo is (no offense) poorly made. I can make you one if you want.

I've uploaded a Hi-Res Minecraft logo in the resources section of the site.

Ah well I would still suggest updating the current main part of the logo as well.

It would be better if you posted in the newcomers WIP thread here: http://www.vgboxart.com/forums/showt...ers-WIP-thread
