I agree with holiday season of next year. I read that article too and found it interesting.
I don't think they ever really say what city they're parodying, but it was obvious beyond obvious that Las Venturas was a Vegas rip off. The hotels both on the strip and in the downtown area looked very similar to real life hotels.
Mark my word. It's gonna be released October 2012 or Arpil 2013.
You guys inspired me to get San Andreas. So I start a new game, made sure to set all video settings on high and all, but then realized that the graphics were terrible. Well, of course, it's a pretty old game right? So I decide to see if there's an HD Patch. I didn't really expect anything, maybe just a little sharper or crisper graphics with a proper 1920x1080 resolution. Instead, I found this.

Nice. I thought it was a pretty good deal too: Vice City, San Andreas, and GTA 3 for $29 in disc format.

With all the new console rumours and such I doubt they'd release a trailer this year and go for 2014/15 for a release. Plus, what's the point in releasing new consoles? We're in a recession and they want to release brand new consoles for what? £500 a piece when it costs them £49 to make one. Yeah, that's right, it costs them a 10th of the price to make a console and they sell it for half a grand and the damn thing breaks in two months.
Releasing a trailer for a game, for a next-gen console, without the actual codes for that console that will make the game appear to be on said console isn't going to happen. If they're releasing a trailer now, then it's pretty much cast in stone that the game will come out on this generation of consoles.
The way I see it, Microsoft and Sony should take their time with the next-gen consoles, perfect the motherboard programs so they don't go red ring/yellow light and wait another 7 years to release it. Instead of releasing the consoles with so many problems and errors that screw it up so quickly. But yeah, GTA V is for this-gen of consoles, not the next-gen.
Signatures are lame.
Hence why I don't have one.
Because I'm awesome.
PS3's had a failure rate well within what's accepted for consumer electronics. I have both PS3 and 360 and I just think that PS3 is overall a better system. I'm sure a lot of people will disagree, but at least in terms of build quality, my 60 GB launch PS3 (with a 320 GB HD) is a far better system than my Xbox 360 Pro. Microsoft always tries to win and it always bites them in the ass because they push everything out before it's ready.
The main reason I was attracted to SA was the rumors and secrets, the weirdness, the rumors made the world look alive.
Pre-orders already? Not surprised at the supposed 2012 release date, which is what I was expecting, but I've never seen pre-orders go up so quickly right after a game is announced.Amazon.com has started taking pre-orders for the recently announced Grand Theft Auto V. While Rockstar Games has yet to confirm which platform the next installment to the popular franchise will land on, presumably next year, retailers have already added the game to the PS3 and 360′s 2012 lineup. EB Games Australia also has GTA V listed for the PS3, 360 and PC.
