Hmm..the trailer looks ok. It actually did not surprise me or made me amazed. I find the debut trailer of GTA IV to be better and more exciting.

Oops, guess that's due to my lack of knowledge of the franchise. Never played a GTA game before, mostly because that's the only franchise my parents don't allow me to play.

^ You need to explain to them that it is a video game and that you know that the stuff in the game is wrong and you won't ever do any of it. My parents don't like me playing the games either but they know that i'm not gonna go outside and carjack someone.

True that, but my mom wouldn't have it. My dad is much cooler about it, but if my mom had her way I would be stuck playing only LittleBigPlanet and LEGO Star Wars. I'm this close to getting permission to play RDR, but I'm pretty sure GTA is out of the question for now. My dad just pre-ordered Saints Row 3 and I'll probably check that one out.

RDR doesn't have much profanity. Atleast not on the level of GTA or San Andreas alone. Just show her what the game is about if she's interested in that kind of thing.

Profanity's not really the issue, she doesn't like the violence and sex. My dad is fine with it (He got me the first AC and also introduced me to Fallout). I'll probably just talk to him about it and he can usually convince my mom it's fine.
