I'm calling a return to Vice City, in the modern era.

EDIT: Story will revolve around counterfeiting money.

Return to Vice City would be awesome, but I doubt it. Based on the "V" it could be Washington D.C.

London would be awesome, but I think the V in the logo is just too resembling of a US bank note to be anywhere else.

Anything like Washington D.C would be awesome. It'll add a new feeling to the series.

I don't want another San Andreas. Vice City was easily my favorite GTA game. The whole setting was ridiculous, I'm hoping for Vice City with Vegas as a second choice. I want to say that I'm only hoping for Vice City if they manage to make it glitzy and grimy at the same time like in the last game. The whole Miami Vice/Scarface 80s setting was too good. Everything about it was awesome.

I cannot wait! I'm guessing that it's gonna be modern, but I just hope that it's in San Andreas. Even doing a main character similar to CJ (black guy out of the ghetto) would be pretty sweet.

The more I look at the logo, the more questions come up.. That "V" is so different compared to "III" in GTA 3 and "IV" in GTA IV. I wonder why they wanted the "V" or "FIVE" to stand out so much. Maybe this is just a "placeholder" logo so we keep guessing what that "V" design has to do with the setting of the game. Eventually, R* will go back to a traditional logo design and shows us that design for "V" has nothing to do with the game..

...or maybe I'm just over-thinking. I'm just too excited to see the new trailer and what R* has up their sleeves this time.

The V has to have some significance. It's not just that it has a design inside and it says "FIVE" across it, but it's the font of the V. I know I'm definitely over-thinking this, but the inside of the V looks kinda like an upside down spade (Cards). Could be another hint at Vegas.

Rockstar must have little faith in their fanbase's intelligence if they have to plaster the word "five" over the roman numeral.

That's what I'm skeptical about. The V has to have more significance than just being a roman numeral.

Well it seems to reference US currency, I think we all got that, so I think we can rule out London and Tokyo (I'm okay with that anyway), but I like the whole spade inside the V thing. I'd be totally okay with an updated Vegas. Las Venturas was pretty awesome in GTA San Andreas, now with the updated graphics, they can do crazy things with that. Someone also suggested DC on another site since that's the site of the US Federal Reserve. I'm still holding out the most hope for Miami. I think it's really tough to judge what city it'll be in based on the fact that the V and the word five appear to have to do with money considering how much emphasis is placed on money in every GTA game.
