Default AC Revelations PS3 Collector's or Animus Edition?

I really can't decide which edition to pre-order?

What do you think is the best edition (content-wise)

I never got too into Assassin's Creed, but the Animus Edition looks more appealing. The encyclopedia looks ridiculous. But it would probably depend on the cost difference.

Thanks for your opinion. I also thought the 'Encyclopedia' is a bit, what can I say 'to much' for my liking but the content seems fair.
I think the price difference isn't really a problem for me, because I'm willing to pay extra for such an awesome game!
(from the gameplay footage I've seen and owning all the the previous games in the series)

I'm preferring an Artbook over an Encyclopedia, though. The content seems similar, only you get 2 more things on the Animus Edition.

I'm thinking of the Animus? it has a bit more content, but it lacks an Artbook and Collector's box. I'm still confused, I guess :/

The encyclopedia should've been on a disk if you ask me (much like the MGS4 database) but I guess it would make a good bathroom read. But yeah, it really depends how much you're willing to shell out. Personally I think I favour the collectors edition, as I could get any info from the AC wikia, the Brutus armour I've always hated the look of, and visiting a shop slightly more often isn't really a hindrance.

    Thanks for sharing your opinion

I agree, that the encyclopedia should be on a disc.

I think I've finally made a choice I'm going for the Collector's Edition.

    Thanks guys

Bought the Animus Edition. Damn thing cost £64.99 on 360. But it's worth it.

EDIT: Mainly because I want that soundtrack.

I would buy the Animus edition but, once again, I'm not made of money and I want Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 more.

Give me the soundtrack, and no one gets hurt.

Now I'm back at confusing :/ Everyone suddenly say the Animus Edition is best?

Well, I guess I'll wait a bit longer to decide. I hope it doesn't sell out soon :/

If you want the art book more than the Encyclopedia, then get the collectors. And I don't know where you live, but I think in America Gamestop is doing where if you pre order the game you get a free upgrade to the collector's edition.
