How is it illegal? Point me to a law that states we can't vector logos from movie posters because someone made a font.

How do we even know you made the font? And it's not like any profit is being made from this. It's purely for entertainment.

Are you stating that you made the original logo for the movie and you were hired by Marvel? If not then you have absolutely no rights to the logo and a typeface made from the logo by someone wouldn't have the legal rights to make money from it.

Also usually a logo isn't made from a typeface. For example Coca Cola is a logo NOT a typeface. The typefaces with those letters are fakes. A company makes a logo, then if needs be it can be made into a typeface with a full alphabet later by a company hired graphic designer/typographer.

So if you can show proof you made the logo for Marvel then you can have some sort of authority over it. Regardless the logo will be owned by Marvel not the designer. All the logos I make at my day job as a design are owned by my bosses company, not myself.

So, indulge me sir.
