So, I was working on a box. Really excited to get it posted. When I open it up to double check everything before posting, It gives an error. So I check my back ups. Error. Error. Error. Fucking error. Everything I've done in Paint.net is giving me an error. So now I'm starting over. Thanks PC. You're the best.

Not bad for a first, I've seen MANY worse! You should add an ESRB-logo and the logos of Epic Games and Microsoft and so on. Also, the whole thing looks a liittle fuzzy to me, the picture's an in-game screenshot?

Still, good work! Dare to take a shot at the backside? ; )

Thanks for reminding me about the tags and such. I would have left them out. And no, the picture is a mix of background image and characters. But the fact that you think it's an in game screeny warms my little heart. <3

Backside will be in, hopefully tomorrow. I have some pretty good ideas for it. We'll just have to see how it turns out.

The characters do have a small irritating white border, see it? Try to edit that away too!

Dickens. I knew that was gonna bother someone. Haha. Whoever rendered that image did a worse than terrible job. I had to cut some areas out between legs and arms and such. FUN!

Hey! I worked hard on rendering that! Seriously though, VGBA compresses attachments a lot so that is probably the biggest reason it looks fuzzy. Once you're a boxart+ you can post links, so I'll teach you how to upload high-res stuff when that time comes. For your first time ever using Paint.net (Or any image editing tool for that matter), I'm pretty damn impressed. I thought the characters were part of the background until I gave it a closer look. Just clean up the edges of the renders and add dev logos, and you should be good to go. Looking forward to the back, man.

Okay, I believe I fixed all the problems mentioned. The back will have to wait a bit. I'm gonna have to start focusing on homework...

That's really pretty good for a first ! I like the image you chose, quit a bit. It's different. If I could suggest, though, perhaps you could try flushing the ESRB to the bottom-left, and moving those dev logos over to the right? I've never seen a 360 box with those logos oriented the way you have them; then again, I don't own a 360, so there could be ones I don't know about, but it still looks odd to me. Again, that's just my opinion, though . Certainly better than my first attempt at boxart design; and in Paint.NET, too.

I just put the dev logos where they were on the official box. I'll try it on the other side and see what it looks like.

Also, what format are you saving in? Png is the best just in case you didn't know.

Can't post images like that. Whenever you see an image, right click on it and select "open image in new tab". The link should contain just the picture. Click here to see what I mean.
