Hey guys, here's my VGBA Cup Round 3 box. I chose Syphon Filter because it's one of my favorites on the PS1 and I had a great vision for it. Made a custom template for it too from scratch! How does it look so far? Comments, critique?



p.s. the logo is simply a placeholder for now until del337er makes the two that I requested. Credit to woopwoop11 for the current logo

The fronts looking good. Maybe add a drop shadow on the logo?

If there's one thing that you have consistently shown throughout this competition, it's that YOU DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THE RULES. There are dozens of colours here: the rules clearly stated that you are to use FIVE in your design. Please edit this or it won't be considered for judging.

No, when I saw five colours I mean ONLY five colours, no variation of the shades. That is, if I eye-drop your entire box, pixel-by-pixel, I should only be able to see five colours.

I just read the rules for the competition. That means that the logo cannot have a gradient and it breaks the rules. Also, now I feel dumb for making that since it is just going to be replaced anyway. To comment on the box so far though, it looks pretty nice. I would suggest starting another project for the competition and to finish this later.

That back has way more than 5 variations of green, therefore it is not suitable
