Default Pixelart - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker [Sir Pringles]

Hey, another pixel-box! All done by little me!

Went for a Gamecube-title this time, mostly for the template. It's just an early draft, and I'd love some suggestions! Don't be shy, now!

PS: I know it's called "THE Wind Waker", but there was no way that could be done neatly shile still remaining somewhat true to the original logo.

The only thing I don't particularly like is that you can't read "The Legend Of"
other than that, it looks great.

You should put a little more detail into the water, like add light blue/white lines through it.

Great pixel art, but why don't you just use a pixelated font instead of plain dots for the "the legend of " text?

The whole point of my pixelart boxes is to in some way mimic old school graphics, where you can ser all pixels clearly, even from quite a distance. To make that small text, this box would have to be huge, which is a bit out of my league at the moment. Maybe in the future, though.

Great idea! I'll get to it as soon as I can.

The perspective is odd. For me, Link is a giant man in an island watching a tiny sunset XD

This looks very nice and original. I agree the water should have some sort of texture, even if just a slightly lighter shade of blue. Also in my opinion you should make the left side of the island extend to the lower left corner of the box, helps with the perspective.

    Okay guys, here's an update!

I've added a bush, a seashell and some seaweed to the beach, which is now extended with del337er's idea. The sea has been raised three pixels, along with the skyline and the sun. The suns reflection is smaller, and there is a ship.

Maybe it's time to start on a back... Anyone got any ideas? 'Cause I don't.

Looks a lot better bro! Nice job putting the criticism to good use. I'm looking forward to seeing what you have for the back.

    Update!

Added a spine, and a back template. I also added a Nintendo logo and certificate and an ESRB rating to the front. I'm gonna keep working on the back, and I'll try to get an early sketch up later today. How about it so far?
