More than anything, I just wanted cleared up rules. I'm fine with the limited color palette. I'd also like more time.

EDIT: I wonder if Thunderhead is our only colorblind contestant, or if there are more who haven't spoken up yet? You have a point, Brettska99.

Don't change it on my account. I'm burnt out from Round 2 as it is, and I've got classes starting soon.

Besides, Flexx pm'ed me about making an exception for me, and I declined.

Gotcha. I still want to know if we can get another week. It's a shame you won't continue, but I understand.

Forget Thunderhead...I send him a PM with a different proposal and he opted not to due to school and what not. I had a very clear idea for this round, but I guess some of you guys thought otherwise; in any case, I hope you can find more common ground with the new rules (which is essentially Reed's original 5 Color Comp.) Hopefully this will get rid of some (HOPEFULLY all) of the questions and confusion.

Please, please don't make it only N64 and PS1. Can't it just be all consoles? 5 colors is enough of a restriction.

I'm cool on that. I have a vast PS1 library, so I should find something that will do the trick for me.

EDIT: I wondered if Daemon would come back and say that.

    Denied.

Never fear, I've come up with another idea. Is it alright if I use a PS2 style PS1 template?

I just started on my box, and I come back and you changed it so I can't even use it anymore. Thanks for changing your mind. Now it means I have to as well. At least it will be easier this time round, seeing as I started playing video games with the N64. Can it be a made up game? I think I know you are going to say now, just thought I'd ask though.

Sorry for the change, but it was necessary in order to avoid the eventual shitstorm headed my way. And no, no custom boxes allowed --- ever, this counts for any future rounds as well.

So is the custom template a no? If so, that's okay, but the PS2 template gives more to work with.

Wow, I sound dumb, but what is anti-aliasing? And how would I turn that off in Photoshop, or even see if it is on?
Also, Black and White count as 2 colors? Or are they exempt from being colors.

Okay, thanks! How do I turn that off then?
And what about custom templates? And then we can't have the plastic part around the box as well?

The pencil tool is strictly aliased, while the paintbrush tool is anti-aliased. You can also toggle anti-aliasing on/off with your selection tool on the bar at the top when you have it selected.

    What about the pen tool?

The pen tool is vector-based, and is always anti-aliased, to my knowledge. But you should be able to turn off the anti-aliasing on any strokes or fills you do with it. Just make a selection from your path, and turn off anti-aliasing on your selection tools.
