Default The Official Team Fortress 2 Thread

We all know you play it. And you like it. Now discuss it.

What are you favorite classes and loadouts?

    1. Sniper: Standard Sniper Rifle, Darwin's Danger Shield, Tribalman's Shiv, Ol' Snaggletooth, Mercenary Badge
    2. Spy: The Ambassador, Electro sapper, You Eternal Reward, Dead Ringer, Mann Co Hat (or sometimes Ghastly Gibus), Mercenary Badge

Do you have any replays on YouTube?

Well it was almost a random shot and actually killing him was pretty cool IMO.

My favourite class is Sniper with default rifle, Razorback and Tribalman's Shiv. Recently I've been improving as Scout.

I play as Heavy mostly, I can aim with inhuman accuracy even at scouts that try to jump around me. I never use the shotgun since there have been plenty of occurrences of an incompetent medic on my team except when I play with some of my friends, so the sandvich takes care of that. Even with a competent medic, I use the sandvich to heal my medic whenever he/she needs it.

With the Medic, i generally try to heal and buff everyone that needs it, but also try to go combat medic on the other team. I love doing the chain medic strategy, it involves both medics using the ubersaw and medigun to keep both of us ubercharged while stabbing enemies with the saw to build up the uber. It is so awesome when it actually works out.

As pyro, I originally had the backburner, but started to use the degreaser and flare gun. I usually play defensively with the pyro, which involves using the airblast on enemy pyros to avoid getting myself killed from their obligatory W+M1 strategy since it works so well for them, hurr durr.

I love the spy, ask Mub.

Load out: The Ambassador, other than that it's the original stuff.

Well I did it and I killed the Scout. I'd say it's a success.

CoD players are officially invading TF2. It's the fucking armageddon.

Anyways, whenever me and Mub feel like destroying the team he'll go Medic and I'll go Heavy w/ Tomislav; the Tomislav is quite OP, but man do I ever love it. However, my go-to class is always:

    Pyro
    Vanilla Flamethrower
    Flare Gun
    Axtinguisher

And no, I'm not a W+M1 Pyro. I'm trying to master the airblast, most Pyros don't seem to realize what an effective weapon it really is.

I honestly don't go for no-scopes in TF2. I only have 4 kills outside of scope with sniper rifles, and that was just a lucky shot I pulled when I was bored.

His health was less than 50 points, which is how much an uncharged unscoped sniper rifle does maximum. You could have shot him in the limb and it would still kill him.

Headshots are not registered when placing hitscans to the head of the model, except for the Ambassador, which is possibly the closest thing to a noscope headshot you can get with TF2, and the huntsman, but the projectile size makes it easy to place headshots anyway.

Also you've used the Sydney Sleeper, that weapon cannot headshot opponents.

I don't really care about his health or the kill being a headshot; the point of the video was a nice hit.

My favorite class is the Spy, default loadout (And the Fedora for good measure and style.) I love the stabbin' and the sappin'. When Spying isn't helpful for the team, I go Pyro and airblast everything.

I love using Scout, Spy, and Medic
I like using medic cuz you even have to do much you just heal a heavy and you get points
I've learnt how to type now, it's all good
And no, I'm not here to start a flame war (again).

Am I the only one who doesn't care about points? If there was a ranking system then I would care, but does it really matter otherwise? I just like to get kills TBH.

Because this isn't a conventional team-based shooters, "kills" (unless said kills are people who are trying to capture an objective) are rarely useful. In most cases, a higher point count means that you're doing more for your team, and not spending so much time trying to no scope
