Preacher (I read the entire series. I think it may be my favorite thing ever now.)
    Watchmen
    Batman: The Dark Knight Returns
    Batman: Arkham Asylum
    Green Lantern: Darkest Night
    MARVEL Civil War
Batman & Robin (The newest series by Frank Quitely)
    Bone
    Kick-Ass

There are others, I just can't remember them all right now. I still don't have regular access to comic books... there are no bookstores in this area within 100 miles, and no one else sells them. But I've really fallen in love with the medium, and I could see myself becoming very addicted if I had the opportunity.
You can get a lot online too.

Yeah, but I never know what I will like and what I will not. For instance, I actually hated Arkham Asylum. It was strange and oddly drawn and I never could tell what I was looking at. It was too symbolic... too artistic. I didn't even like the story that much. On the other hand, I thought I would HATE Bone, and I really liked it.

Besides that, there's just something about the physical shopping experience, of being able to hold them and see them and look at them before you buy.

I really would like to get involved with them, though. Especially the new storylines that MARVEL is pushing out, the new #1's.

Archie comics does the Sonic comic and the newer Megaman comic. All they had to do was drop Sega and Capcom a line and see if they were down for a crossover. Ian Flynn, the writer, had this to say on the matter:

"I'm already living the dream by writing the Sonic titles," Flynn said. "Then I got to live the other dream of writing for Mega Man. With that many dreams being handed to me, I figured it was only a matter of time."
I'm plenty stoked on the matter.

Personally i think Batman: Year One would be a good place to start, it's an amazing graphic novel.

Eh, you aren't missing much, I really don't like the Sonic comics anymore. I'd get a subscription to Megaman though, that's a pretty good comic.

Y'all need to get on those Watchmen prequels they're actually dope as fuck. Dr. Manhattan one could've been written by Mr. Moore himself.

I hope they are released as a whole book, once I get around to reading the actual Watchmen, I'll read those as well.

Is it sacrilegious of me to hope they make those into a movie too?

No, because the movie was awesome. It was almost written by Solid Snake man.

Greg Capullo is a genius, honestly probably the best Batman artist for a generation. Just ordered the new 'Death of the family' story arc, can't wait to read it.
