The only box in the wild that I have is paper mario 3ds, which doesn't even look very appealing to me anymore. I searched my username on google and came up with this youtube video.
I just typed in my username. Result = WHAT THE HELL. No way he came up with BeardedWalrus all my himself. He had to have seen me on a forum somewhere....

beardedwalrus is a pretty kick-ass username. Mine sounds weird because it is a phrase of exclamation. Anyway, I think he definitely copied off of you. Are you referring to the guy that I found making a vlog on youtube?

There's two of them. BeardedWalrus and TheBeardedWalrus. And a google search pulls up a BeardedWalrus Records. All of these made after I started using this name

.....and a Mr bearded Walrus on twitter
    .....and a beardedwalrus ebay account

I feel both upset and happy. Happy that people liked my name so much, but upset cause I'M THE ONLY BEARDEDWALRUS DAMMIT

It's fine that they wanted to show it off, but they should have credited you properly for your work. I would email the guy at IGN to get your proper credit.

I actually did already, although they only mispelled my name, like the telephone game. My real name is Daniel E. Bellorin Oropeza then TinyCartridge got the image from DeviantArt and put me as Daniel Oropez and David Oropez, IGN got it from there and now is at Daniel Oropez.
Is this really my box on IGN?!

I figured something like that after I further read on it. I also remember you saying your real name is Daniel on the Real Names thread.

My mass effect 2 box was used in a New Zealand magazine, i regret not buying it to keep it lol.

Whats funny is that it was still a wip, it was never posted to the main site haha.

My Ghostbusters box ended up on some English website about Betamax movies (not linked form here, rather, it was from my Photobucket account). I was pretty stoked until they flat out refused to give me credit (i have no idea why), so i moved the album and locked it. No more image for them. Sad.

I also got told my Sonic 2 box got used somewhere too but i am yet to find where.

Hey, one of mine is on there!

    ...

That's what my boxes looked like in 2008? I'm gonna go into a corner and die now.

More of my old work, and this time someone else is taking credit for them.

    ...

    Okay.

I just found Glowblue's The Last Guardian box on Playfire:

    His box: http://www.vgboxart.com/boxes/PS3/31...dian-print.jpg
Makes me wish he was still here

Also, speaking of YouTube, my New Super Mario Bros Wii box was on there (The same box that was uploaded to someone else's Deviantart and used by Blockbuster for an ad and their website banner -_-)

IGN made an entire story about it: http://ds.ign.com/articles/118/11845...s+%28IGN+DS%29
However, they did remove VGBA's footer and added their own watermark.

No, Poppins has no copyright to it, since the art, and even more, the property of Majora's Mask isn't his.. I don't think they actually removed the VGBA part, they grabbed the version off Poppins' deviantART. They did still credit Poppins.

I wish any of my boxes made it into the wild.
The most I've ever known is that I bought ANOTHER copy of BBS, printed my cover, traded it in, and the next week I went back to look for it. It wasn't there. So therefore, perhaps someone has my cover. Or they chucked it away.

I'm trying to find some VGBA boxes to use in a short film starring Val Kilmer. It's a cool project. They need to be copyright free. I can give design credit on the film but no pay (it's one of those "doing it for the love" type of projects) but it will get good exposure. Any help out there? I'm not an artist and I'm not very good at these forums either so please excuse my lack of etiquette. I don't know how to use them right And if anybody can school me on how better to get my message across, I'd appreciate it.

One of my boxes started a thread on a forum. Some guy thought it was an official cover for Outbreak File #3. But everyone assumed he made it cause it was the one with the L4D hand on.
